  How Our VMI Program Works

We identify your needs

First, we meet with you to talk about how you currently maintain and replenish your inventory. We’ll also explore possible improvements to your current process so we can customize our program to fit the particular needs of your business.

We create your custom
barcodes

Next, we’ll generate custom barcodes for as many parts and products as you need or make you a booklet of your product list. We can print and mail labels to you or email you the barcodes to print yourself. When they arrive, just adhere labels to the shelf, bin, package or booklet of the associated products.

We get you set up to
maintain your inventory

After you get your barcodes, one of our employee owners can help you download the free DSG app to a phone or tablet. When you’re running low on a product, just open the app, scan the barcode, select a quantity and check out — no more typing in product numbers! Plus, almost anyone you authorize can place orders with minimal training.

We tailor everything to
your business

Finally, we make sure you have all the information and support you need to manage your inventory. We can further customize the program to make your business run more smoothly.
